Ain al-Tineh sources reported that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri explained to the American ambassador his commitment to the necessity of reaching a comprehensive and complete ceasefire in Lebanon, and putting an end to the demolition operations in the south, in addition to achieving withdrawal. The sources added that work is underway to reach a comprehensive ceasefire, at a time when keeping pace with regional developments, especially what is happening in Islamabad and what the course of relations between Iran and the United States of America is witnessing.
